PRO-FC-1770 Fiber Core Slings Class 1770
Manufactured according to EN 13414-1 and EN 13411-3 standards specs, they are available as galvanised and un-galvanised (bright), with different construction types and diameters.
Fiber core 6x37 construction is more flexible than fiber core 6x19 construction because the number of wires in a strand is almost double.
It is important to remember that this construction has a less good abrasion resistance than 6x19, for the same wire rope diameter.
Fiber core 6x7 construction is used for small diameter wire ropes. Choose galvanised type for an extra corrosion resistance.
Avoid using fiber core ropes on very low (negative) temperatures or on temperatures exceeding 82 °C.
Fiber core 6x37 construction is usually used for:
- ordinary lifting operations;
- excavations and digging;
- forestry and wood processing;
Work load limits adjusted and calculated according to EN 13414-1 and slightly adjusted.
